The Avengers is set to take the big screens by storm on May 4, 2012. Under the talented director Joss Whedon, who has earned credits with contributions in movies like Toy Story and Speed, the superhero cast is second to none. The returning superhero actors that include Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) create a team unlike no other Marvel squad. In addition, Scarlett Johansson is stars as the Black Widow and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner (Hulk). The original Hulk Lou Ferrigno also acts as the voice of the Hulk in the film, and Gwyneth Paltrow returns as Pepper Potts. With such a talented cast, this Marvel movie is sure to please both comic book lovers and regular movie goers alike.

Tony Stark is a billionaire weapons distributor who creates the Iron Man suit to protect mankind. Black Widow works with Nick Fury as a secret agent in the S.H.I.E.L.D. agency. Scientist Bruce Banner is turned into the Hulk after a failed experiment on himself in an attempt to create the perfect soldier. Whether you follow the comic book series on the Avengers or not, the movie will certainly be worth the wait!
