Pop Junkie

Game shows have been on TV for years, decades even. Growing up, I loved watching old game shows with my mom. We had the Game Show Network, where we could turn it on at any time of the day or night and see a favorite, generally from the years my mom was growing up. Some people may not like to admit how much they love game shows, but most probably do enjoy watching a game show or two.

“The Price Is Right” has been on for forty years. Yet, it is still one of the most popular and widely watched. So many people long to go, get called out of the audience, and see what prize they can win. Similar to “The Price Is Right” is “Deal or No Deal.” Again, people get picked out of the audience to play a game and possible win a prize or money. On this game show, they also dress up to increase their odds of being picked. A very new, fun game show to watch is “Wipeout.” On this show, people run through obstacle courses, beating out opponents until they win the final course for money. It is a fun show to watch people wipe-out, as the title states.

So, don’t worry if you secretly love game shows. Others share your love.
