“Terra Nova” Television Show Review and Description

Terra Nova’s plotlines center around the Shannon’s, a family of five from 2149 living on a ruined Earth. They become part of a pilgrimage to 85,000,000 years in the past, and a second chance to get it right. This past is replete with nasty species of dinosaurs, dangerous virus’s and danger lurking everywhere. The only seemingly safe place is the gated community guarded constantly by men and women with high powered weapons. The community leader, Taylor, has keeping the population of Terra Nova safe as his main concern. And there are many dangers, including from Mira and her rogue gang of pilgrims who reside outside the walls, operate with their own agenda, and raise a weekly ruckus adding tension and conflict to every storyline.
I say so far, so good; this new Fox show has it all going on. The sets are complex, expensive and impressive. The animatronics and computer graphics for the gentle and the vicious dinosaurs alike are wonderfully lifelike and frightening. The plotlines, while somewhat predictable in a general sense, have enough suspense and surprises to keep you going. The characters and the family dynamics of the Shannon family are interesting and becoming more fleshed out with each show. I can see a whole family happily sitting down together on Monday nights to watch Terra Nova, as the producers have made sure to include something for everyone.

Game shows have been on TV for years, decades even. Growing up, I loved watching old game shows with my mom. We had the Game Show Network, where we could turn it on at any time of the day or night and see a favorite, generally from the years my mom was growing up. Some people may not like to admit how much they love game shows, but most probably do enjoy watching a game show or two.

“The Price Is Right” has been on for forty years. Yet, it is still one of the most popular and widely watched. So many people long to go, get called out of the audience, and see what prize they can win. Similar to “The Price Is Right” is “Deal or No Deal.” Again, people get picked out of the audience to play a game and possible win a prize or money. On this game show, they also dress up to increase their odds of being picked. A very new, fun game show to watch is “Wipeout.” On this show, people run through obstacle courses, beating out opponents until they win the final course for money. It is a fun show to watch people wipe-out, as the title states.

So, don’t worry if you secretly love game shows. Others share your love.

James Cameron’s “Avatar 2″ Latest Information

James Cameron’s “Avatar 2″ latest information changes constantly these days. This is because the brilliant mastermind behind this highly successful trilogy keeps coming up with new, amazing ideas. “Avatar 2″ is scheduled to be released in December of 2014 with “Avatar 3″ to be out in December of the following year.

One thing that James came up with in this sequel is to shoot the movie at a rate of 60 frames per second. It has always been the norm to shoot a movie at a rate of 24 frames per second except for the new “Hobbit” movie which has been said to being shot at a rate of 48 frames per second.

Cameron has also stated that this isn’t your everyday trilogy. All of the characters that survived the first movie will be in all the subsequent movies. So all the characters we know and love from Pandora will be returning. Awesome!

James and his crew are creating the movies at this gigantic place called the MBS Media Campus in Manhattan Beach, Cali. The movies are also being shot at the same time, back to back. The movies are expected to create 700 new jobs. Way to go James for creating new jobs here in the states.

Cameron loves to make his films for his audience. He captivated all of us with Terminator, Aliens and Titanic. He has always said that his goal in making movies is to bring us all on a journey. And that is exactly what he has done with “Avatar.” He says that the whole red carpet hoopla doesn’t interest him. It is sitting down to write and entering the world of Pandora that makes him happy.

Tony Stark is a billionaire weapons distributor who creates the Iron Man suit to protect mankind. Black Widow works with Nick Fury as a secret agent in the S.H.I.E.L.D. agency. Scientist Bruce Banner is turned into the Hulk after a failed experiment on himself in an attempt to create the perfect soldier. Whether you follow the comic book series on the Avengers or not, the movie will certainly be worth the wait!
